Aji Filters are handmade in Melbourne from 100% Natural Cotton. Our cotton is lightweight with a tight weave, holding back the large coffee grounds but letting some of the fines and oils through, resulting in a super creamy well balanced cup of rich pour over coffee.

Description

Before you brew

We recommend boiling your filter for 10 minutes before the first brew to remove any naturally occurring starches/oils and to shrink your filter to size.

Step 1

Boil your filter for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Fold the seam down and place the Aji Filter in your dripper cone of choice.

Step 3

Pour hot water through your filter and dripper to preheat/set your filter and then discard this water.

Step 4

Add 15g of coffee to your filter and level out the grounds to make a flat base.

Step 5

Pour 250g of water into your coffee in 5 separate pours of 50 grams and wait for the water to completely filter down before starting the next pour.

Step 6

Enjoy your freshly brewed coffee while taking in the present moment.
